Terms of Service • Starvis Discord Sentinel

      Summary: By inviting, accessing, or configuring Starvis ("STRK Bot", the "Application", or "Service") in your Discord server, you agree to these Terms. Starvis is engineered for server security, anti-nuke defense, community engagement, and automoderation. You must adhere to Discord's Developer Policy and Terms of Service at all times.
    

1 Acceptance of Agreement

By using Starvis, you confirm that you have read, understood, and consented to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms in their entirety, you must immediately remove Starvis from your server and discontinue use of any associated interfaces or web dashboards.

2 Compliance with Discord Terms of Service

Starvis operates on the Discord platform. You agree to comply strictly with the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You may not use Starvis to facilitate, automate, or encourage violations of Discord policies.

3 Autonomous Security & Anti-Nuke Enforcement

Starvis incorporates high-speed automated defenses, including but not limited to:

Sliding-Window Anti-Nuke: Automated quarantine or permission stripping when mass-deletion or rogue admin actions exceed thresholds.
Heat-Based AutoMod: Physics-inspired continuous heat calculation for spam, mass-mentions, and malicious links.
Algorithmic Join Gate: Anti-raid detection using Levenshtein name clustering, account age gates, and visual captcha challenges.
Disaster Recovery: Differential server snapshots and automated restoration routines.

You acknowledge that automated mitigation actions (e.g. quarantining suspected rogue accounts, locking channels during detected raids) are executed based on server configurations set by your administrators. Starvis and its developers are not liable for accidental isolations resulting from improper threshold configurations.

4 Administrative Hierarchy & Permits

Starvis implements an explicit 5-tier permit hierarchy (Permits 1 through 5) and optional RFC 6238 TOTP Rescue Keys. Server owners are solely responsible for:

Safely configuring and managing who possesses administrative permit permissions.
Safeguarding TOTP two-factor rescue secret keys and recovery codes.
Ensuring that designated server moderators act within authorized community guidelines.

5 Prohibited Conduct

While using Starvis, you agree NOT to:

Attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, probe, or conduct denial-of-service (DoS) attacks against the bot, its APIs, or the web dashboard.
Abuse rate limits or intentionally cause cascading rate-limit triggers.
Use the bot for illegal activities, harassment, hate speech, malware distribution, or unlicensed data harvesting.
Attempt unauthorized bypasses of the TOTP emergency panic unlock mechanisms.

6 Service Availability & Rate Limits

Starvis is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we maintain 99.9% uptime architecture and local SQLite persistence, temporary interruptions may occur due to Discord API outages, hardware maintenance, or gateway disruptions. We reserve the right to apply rate limits to prevent resource exhaustion.

7 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither the developers nor the operators of Starvis shall be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including data loss, unauthorized server raids resulting from misconfigured bot permissions, or Discord-imposed actions.

8 Data Retention & Erasure

Your data is handled under our Privacy Policy. Server owners may request complete data purging of their server's configuration, heat records, and snapshot history by issuing the appropriate reset commands or contacting our support team.
